Who We Are
The Friends of The Bayley House is a non-profit organization created to facilitate restoration of the Historic Bayley House in Pilot Hill, CA. Partnering with the GDRD (the building's current owners), they have plans to restore The Historic Bayley House for use as a museum and cultural center. In 2008 Phase 1 of the restoration process was completed. They continue to raise funds through various fundraisers and grant applications and are counting on corporate and private donations to continue their work.
The Friends of the Bayley House are an all-volunteer organization comprised of a veteran core with a pool of ready participants from the surrounding area, including the greater Sacramento region.
See Our Progress
Although slow, progress has been made with the help of The State Office of Historic Preservation, an architect, and a specialized commercial contractor who has worked on major restoration projects throughout California & Nevada.
Restoration Efforts
Efforts have been underway for many years to restore the Bayley House to its original glory. But raising the funds proves to be a difficult task since the structure will take a considerable sum to rebuild and furnish it as a as a living historical site.More Coming Soon
